Do I have to pay for shipping on returns?

Customers are only sent return labels on defective products. Other situations may apply based on our discretion.

Do I have to pay for shipping on exchanges?

Customer would most likely have to pay for shipping on an exchange unless the item was defective.

I received an item that is damaged or missing parts. What can I do?

How long do I have to decide before returning an item?

30 days from item delivery.

The item that I ordered doesn't work like it was described, but I'm not sure if it's broken.

Please contact us and we can have our on staff technicians answer your questions. If they are not able to, we can contact the manufacturer on your behalf. You can also call support through the manufacturer.

Does AVLGEAR do repairs?

No. However, if the item is in the warranty period we can send you the invoice and connect you with the manufacturers warranty process.

I opened the item I ordered. Can I still return it?

All items that are are non-defective returns must be returned in the condition they were sent out in, new and unopened.

Does AVLGEAR charge a restocking fee for returns?

Base restocking fee is 15% and shipping fees are non-refundable.

Do I need any kind of special packaging to return my order?

Items must be returned in original manufacturers packaging. We are not responsible for packages damaged/lost in the return process. Please use insured ground service on all returns.

If I purchased a kit or bundle, can I return just a portion of the order?

No. We cannot take partial returns as these items cannot be sold as new.

For how long will my RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) be valid?

You have 30 days from the RMA to return the item.

What happens if I don't have the original manufacturer's packaging for my return?

If the item is defective, we will check the serial number to verify. If the serial number was on the original packaging and not the item, we cannot take the return.

It says my order was delivered, but I can't find my package. What should I do?

First, please take a quick glance around the mailbox and sides of the property to ensure the delivery person didn’t hide the package. If the package is still lost, Please contact us here or call us at 877-779-8964.

Can I change my shipping address after placing my order?

Shipping address may be changed on a case by case basis. Generally speaking, for the buyers safety, we will not change shipping addresses after the order is placed. We would have to have the buyer place a new order to insure the order.

Can I add an item to my order?

We recommend placing a new order. Adding an item will take longer than placing a new order for another item.

Is a signature required for me to receive my package?

Anything shipped with a value over $100 will require a signature to be received. Our carriers will allow customers to contact them with the tracking information and give consent for the package to be left. The customer then takes full responsibility of the packages whereabouts.

Shopping Experience

How soon will an item that is out of stock or backordered to available?

Based on manufacturer's availability. Usually estimated 7-14 business days.

If I place my order today how soon will I get it?

In-stock items are usually shipped within 1-2 business days.

How can I find out when a pre-order item will become available?

Pre-order items will have an estimated availability date.

Can I place an order online and pick it up from the AVLGEAR store?

Items can be purchased online or in store. If the order is online and picked up in store the customer must show the credit card used. If a driver is sent, we will take a photocopy of the drivers license and have him sign your receipt on your behalf.

Will AVLGEAR honor a lower price from a competitor?

AVLGEAR will offer price match, most of our products are required to be sold at MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). For larger orders, please contact support@avlgear.com and we can prepare a quote for you. Please be advised that many online sellers are not authorized dealers. Therefore, you may find cheaper prices, but the manufacturers will not honor any warranty from non-authorized dealers.
